| Requirements and Responsibilities For Manufacturing System Engineer II |
| Designs, implements, and maintains software systems that manage and monitor production processes for a manufacturing facility. Develops MES software to track production, quality, and performance metrics, ensuring IT configuration with manufacturing operations. Gathers data from machines and operators to create reports, dashboards, and databases. Integrates automation systems into manufacturing processes to promote real-time visibility and control of production operations. Ensures production automation and control systems meet established safety, quality, and reliability standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
