| Designs, implements, and maintains software systems that manage and monitor production processes for a manufacturing facility. Develops MES software to track production, quality, and performance metrics, ensuring IT configuration with manufacturing operations. Gathers data from machines and operators to create reports, dashboards, and databases. Integrates automation systems into manufacturing processes to promote real-time visibility and control of production operations. Ensures production automation and control systems meet established safety, quality, and reliability standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience. |
