Requirements and Responsibilities For Physician - Radiology
Examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the human body using medical imaging technologies. Interprets images from X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other sources to provide diagnoses and guide treatment plans. Collaborates closely with other healthcare providers, often serving as consultants to answer complex clinical questions and recommend further testing or interventions. Requires a MD. Requires State License to Practice. Typically reports to a medical director. Years of experience may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
