Requirements and Responsibilities For Physician - Pediatric Cardiology
Examines and treats disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system in infants, children, and teenagers. Diagnoses patients with the aid of diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings. May perform invasive medical procedures to help with diagnosis or treatment. Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD. Requires State License to Practice. Typically reports to a medical director. Years of experience may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
