| Requirements and Responsibilities For Manufacturing Total Quality Manager |
| Manages the development, implementation, and maintenance of the manufacturing Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Develops quality policies, procedures, and metrics to enhance manufacturing performance and product consistency. Leads internal and external audits, oversees CAPA processes, and ensures effective resolution of quality issues. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of quality excellence. Ensures that QMS documentation, training, and records are current and properly maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
