Requirements and Responsibilities For Intellectual Property Support Manager |
Provides support to the intellectual property unit of an organization and maintains a portfolio of current patents. Oversees research on developments in IP and patent law and provides support in preparation and filing of patents. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
