Requirements and Responsibilities For Intellectual Property Attorney IV
Responsible for preparing legal documents, reviewing company policies and litigating matters regarding intellectual property. May be responsible for preparing patent or trademark documents, licensing agreements, service agreements, transfer agreements and other contracts or agreements as necessary. Protects the organization's assets in the area of intellectual property and may provide risk or legal counseling to upper management. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience.
