| Requirements and Responsibilities For Telecommunications Supervisor II |
| Supervises the maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems to ensure continuous and reliable communication services. Supervises technicians performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of telecommunications equipment. Schedules and prioritizes maintenance activities to minimize service disruptions. Diagnoses complex system faults and directs corrective actions. Monitors system performance and coordinates preventive maintenance programs. Trains staff on repair procedures, tools, and safety practices. Maintains records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service history. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. |
