| Requirements and Responsibilities For Retirement Plan Services Manager |
| Manages the team responsible for designing, managing, and administering employer-sponsored retirement plans. Responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships. Works directly with employers to optimize plan design and performance to benefit both employers and employees. Oversees and monitors plan compliance with all applicable government regulations, annual testing requirements, and reporting. Stays current on regulatory changes and industry best practices and makes recommendations to clients accordingly. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
