Requirements and Responsibilities For Payroll Services Specialist
Responsible for providing accurate and timely payroll services to clients. Handles all aspects of the client's payroll process including calculating wages, handling deductions, and processing paychecks while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting. Makes recommendations to standardize and streamline the client's payroll processes and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
