Requirements and Responsibilities For Licensing Specialist I
Supports licensing activities by assisting employees with obtaining, renewing, and maintaining required insurance licenses and registrations. Processes licensing applications, examination registrations, appointments, and renewals in accordance with state regulatory requirements and company policies. Reviews employee licensing records and monitors compliance with continuing education, renewal deadlines, and licensing standards. Coordinates with employees, managers, training teams, state insurance departments, and external vendors to resolve licensing issues and support onboarding activities. Maintains accurate licensing documentation and updates information within internal systems and regulatory databases. Supports reporting, audit requests, and process improvement initiatives related to employee licensing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
