| Requirements and Responsibilities For Compounder |
| Prepares batches of raw materials for production processing according to specifications and established procedures. Obtains materials from inventory and utilizes scales or automated equipment to accurately weight. Cleans and sanitizes processing equipment, tanks, filters, pipes, lines, and pumps. Completes all documentation or logbooks accurately and in accordance with GMP. Follows hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment requirements, if applicable. Perform in-process quality procedures. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. |
