| Requirements and Responsibilities For Backend Development Senior Manager |
| Manages the development of scalable back-end solutions for server applications. Implements standard frameworks and source control tools to develop and test web services and API's and ensure product functionality, speed, and security. Oversees the architecture and development of backend systems, ensuring best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather functional requirements, troubleshoot complex issues and roadblocks, and ensure alignment with business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
