| Requirements and Responsibilities For Automated Equipment Technician |
| Performs technical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on automated production and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Installs, calibrates, and adjusts mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems supporting automation processes. Conducts inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before failures occur. Collaborates with engineering teams to modify and improve automated systems for increased efficiency and safety. Documents work performed, maintains equipment logs and manuals, and ensures compliance with company and safety standards. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience. |
