| Requirements and Responsibilities For Asset Management Supervisor |
| Supervises an organization's policies and processes to control and maintain physical assets, including property, vehicles, and equipment. Monitors asset lifecycles, inventories, locations, maintenance status, and costs. Coordinates with vendors and cross-functional groups to ensure accurate and complete asset data. Utilizes specialized software or databases to establish comprehensive records of each asset, maintaining an up-to-date asset registry. Conducts audits to determine the condition of assets and verify that inventories match records. Prepares and distributes comprehensive status reports that document purchase dates, condition, and the responsible departments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. |
