| Requirements and Responsibilities For Secondary Market Manager |
| Manages the team responsible for administering secondary market duties for an organization. Monitors the analysis of mortgage loan portfolios for completeness and accuracy. Reviews market trends and economic conditions to evaluate the risk and return of a loan sale or purchase. Creates reports and models to forecast asset performance and works with internal stakeholders to make recommendations. Ensures compliance with secondary market regulations and company protocols Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
