| Requirements and Responsibilities For SVP of Medical Advising |
| Provides strategic medical leadership for the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical trials and research activities supporting clinical product development. Directs cross-functional project management and establishes scientific processes and governance to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Leads advanced-phase human clinical trials, oversees regulatory submissions and inspections, ensures adherence to global regulatory and ethical standards, and drives timely study close-out and data interpretation. Requires a MD. Typically reports to top management. Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes/implements overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Typically requires 10+ years of progressive leadership experience. Has extensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
