Requirements and Responsibilities For Proof Supervisor
Supervises the team responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions by processing, balancing, and encoding checks, deposit slips, and withdrawal slips. Scans documents and operates a proof machine to read, encode, and sort checks and deposits. Reviews errors, exceptions, and resolves process or equipment problems. Completes required audits, reporting, and documentation. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
