Requirements and Responsibilities For Power Trader
Responsible for the purchase and sale of energy. Monitors energy levels and reports needs or excesses and conducts market analysis to identify fluctuations in cost and availability of power sources. Requires knowledge of energy trading markets and trading practices. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
