Requirements and Responsibilities For Parts Coordinator I
Identifies, inspects, coordinates, and processes parts to be exchanged. Dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Monitors all backorders and communicates and provides technical assistance to parts sales, customers, and branches. Updates and monitors the parts inventory database and places orders as needed. Generates progress reports on schedule status, parts usage, and inventory and keeps records of completed orders. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
