| Requirements and Responsibilities For Insurance Product Development Senior Manager |
| Oversees and manages the team responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing insurance products. Monitors industry trends, competitor filings, and consumer needs to identify opportunities for innovation. Analyzes market trends and customer feedback to determine the strategic direction for product offerings. Collaborates with teams across the organization to launch products, create supporting documentation, and ensure successful delivery. Stays current on applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
