| Requirements and Responsibilities For Discount Brokerage Sales Representative |
| Responsible for the timely buying and selling of securities for clients at discounted commissions. Ensures accuracy of transactions and keeps abreast of market conditions. Typically does not make investment recommendations unless client holds advised account or other fee-based product. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area and may require state licensure. Requires NASD series 7 license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience. |
