| Requirements and Responsibilities For Assisted Living Cook |
| Prepares a wide variety of menu items for residents in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar facility. Responsible for the preparation, presentation, and execution of all items on the menu. Prepares and cooks menu items to meet product quality and company standards. Provides food for special dietary needs as requested. Ensures compliance with food safety regulations. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience. |
